Wells-next-the-Sea Primary and Nursery School is anchored in the community, setting sail for success as it provides our children with a wide range of local experiences to broaden their understanding of the wider world. We are a small school with passion and drive, to provide the best for our children, families and communities both locally and further afield.

03 May 2024Year 2 Science This half term in science Year 2 are learning about seeds. We looked at a different seeds and realised that they come in many different shapes, sizes and colours. We had to workout which seeds would grow into which plants. Some were easier to work out than others! #primaryscience #anchoredinthecommunitysettingsailforsuccess
02 May 2024Year 2 News Year 2 recently took part in a workshop led by Ruthie Collins about the Wonder of eels. Ruthie is the author of the poem 'the wonder of eels' and taught us lots of fascinating information about eels. The children then wrote their own poems about eels which will be on display at the Norfolk Wildlife trust visitor centre in Cley during May. #eels #anchoredinthecommunitysettingsailforsuccess
01 May 2024Special Visitors to Nursery! We had a lovely visit from 2 goats, Pickles and Fidget. Ali told us lots of interesting facts about goats. * They have 2 coats, a rough winter coat and a smooth summer coat. * They don't have a top set of teeth. * They have 2 toes on each foot. We were able to take them for a walk on a lead around the field and also feed them daisies and dandelions. Thank you so much Ali from Potters Farm, Wighton for coming in. #popttersfarm #goatlife #anchoredinthecommunitysettingsailforsuccess
